Libbey Byrne rsc;

Born in Sydney and educated by the Sisters of St Joseph and the Sisters of Charity, Libbey has a background in Secondary School teaching in Sydney and Melbourne. After joining the Sisters of Charity in 1979 and teaching in Melbourne, Libbey served in various ministries: parish pastoral ministry, Director of CCD and adult faith formation in various dioceses in NSW.

Currently Libbey is serving in leadership as a Congregational Councillor. Libbey has a Bachelor of Theology from Melbourne College of Divinity (1993) and most recently an MA in Pastoral Ministry with a concentration in Spirituality from Boston College.

Libbey enjoys reading, music, movies, surfing, and being with people.
