Sr Gaye Reynolds
rsc

Appointed: 1 January 2009

Gaye was born in Sydney and grew up in Auburn, thus being associated with the Sisters of Charity from her earliest years. Gaye has two brothers, two sisters and an extended family of nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was educated by the Sisters of Charity and having been inspired by the Sisters' dedication and enthusiasm, became a Sister of Charity and her ministry was in Primary education. In fact, Gaye has been involved in Primary schools for more than forty years in New South Wales, Victoria and Papua New Guinea. In the schools where she held leadership, Gaye worked with executive groups in building environments of learning, creativity and developing self esteem, to enable each child to reach his or her potential. Although Gaye will not be as involved in schools as before, she will always be grateful for the inspiration that Staff, students and parents have been to her throughout her ministry.

Gaye became a Congregational Councillor on 8th December 2008 and in this new ministry, she hopes she will have time to continue her love of gardening, catching up with family and friends and having the occasional game of golf!
