
Ms Suzie Graham

Suzie Graham is a member of the Awareness Advisory Board, Bowel Cancer Australia, a Trustee of the Awesome Foundation and a member of the Board of Directors of the Sisters of Charity Foundation. She has a commitment to promoting change that contributes to social justice.
Her early career was in marketing, communications, media and advertising in Sydney, New York, London and Hong Kong.
During a career break she managed her family’s company and served on the Board of national and international sporting organisations. In the lead-up to the Sydney 2000 Olympics she was appointed to head the Sponsorship and Marketing unit of the NSW Institute of Sport.
Moving focus to the non-profit sector, she developed a Corporate Relations policy and program for the National Heart Foundation and consulted to the National Centre for Complementary and Alternative Medicine during its establishment.
In 2004, she accepted a new role with the Australian Cancer Research Foundation and for six years headed Philanthropy, Marketing and Communications. The Foundation raises and awards three or more major infrastructure grants of $1.5m-$5m each year. A pioneer of cloud-based data management, online giving and social media, she integrated fundraising program management and communications to achieve new growth and maintain industry-low expenditure.
Late in 2010 she joined the Foundation of the Centenary Institute of Medical Research.
During vacations she travels to India and studies Ancient Indian culture and philosophy.
